Robert Melvin – Chief Executive Officer
Rob Melvin is Chief Executive Officer of Re-Steel Supply Company, Inc. He founded the company in 1998 with the goal of capitalizing on the shift toward increased use of composites within the aerospace industry. He founded Re-Steel as a service oriented, flexible company, offering both the highest quality materials at the lowest market price focused on the needs of composite tooling suppliers. During his tenure at US Steel and Carpenter Technology, he became an expert in the capabilities and equipment required to produce high quality plate products. Today, Re-Steel has become the premier supplier of Invar plate for tooling applications, serving customers worldwide. Rob continues to provide strategic vision for the company’s growth.
Rob began his career in the composite tooling industry in 1984 at Carpenter Technology. His industry experience also includes work for U.S. Steel. Rob attended Regis University, Denver CO where he studied Business Administration and Philosophy.
Tyler Streetman – President
Tyler Streetman is President of Re-Steel Supply Company, Inc. Tyler oversees the company’s operations, including managing key supplier and customer relationships. Under Tyler’s leadership, the company has implemented systems in support of lean manufacturing objectives. These process changes have led to significant cost savings for customers, as well as efficiencies in the company’s overall business operations. Managing the vendor base, Tyler developed expertise in the capabilities and equipment required to produce high quality plate products.
Tyler joined the company in 2004, and has held various management positions including Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Marketing prior to being named to his current position in 2012. Tyler received his B.A. degree from Trinity College, Hartford CT.
Thomas O. Melvin, CPA – Chief Financial Officer
Tom Melvin has been Re-Steel Supply Company, Inc.’s CFO since the company’s inception in 1998. Prior to joining Re-Steel, Tom was a principal of Joseph P. Melvin Company (JPM), P.C., a certified public accounting firm. Tom has held several directorships throughout his career. From 1993 to 1999 he was a member of the Executive Committee of Founders Bank, Philadelphia. From 1998 to 2004, Tom served on the board of Med Synergies, Inc., a software company specializing in medical practice management software based in Dallas, Texas. Currently, he serves on the Board of Conestoga Bank and heads the credit committee.
Tom is a 1976 graduate of the Notre Dame University, from which he received his B.A. in Business Administration. He is also a member of both the PICPA and AICPA.
Vincent Coppolecchia – Vice President, Business Development
Vince Coppolecchia is Vice President, Business Development for Re-Steel Supply Company, Inc. He is an experienced sales and marketing executive in the specialty metals market, with a background in metallurgy and alloy steels. Prior to joining Re-Steel, Vince worked for ThyssenKrupp VDM USA for more than 30 years. During his tenure as President, he helped to expand sales in the US, and throughout Europe and Asia, growing ThyssenKrupp VDM to become one of the largest producers of nickel alloys in the world.
Vince has been active with the National Association of Corrosion Engineers NACE), American Welding Society (AWS), American Society for Metals (ASM) International, and the Metals Service Center Institute (MSCI). He received his B.S. in Metallurgy from Case Institute of Technology (Case Western Reserve University), and also studied at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Mark Sullivan, Vice President Sustainability and Legal
Mark Sullivan is Vice President Sustainability and Legal of Re-Steel Supply Company, Inc. Mark leads Re-Steel’s sustainability group, including the Tool to Plate (“TTP”) recycling program, and the company’s contracts, regulatory compliance, and other legal matters. Prior to joining Re-Steel in 2022, Mark was the CEO and founder of an asset management company for thirteen years. In that role, Mark developed, managed and monetized water and land assets, including a large well and pipeline water delivery project that created a more sustainable system for the delivery of water to its customers. Mark has over thirty years of experience as an attorney working with businesses.
Mark received a bachelor’s degree from Furman University in Greenville, S.C. and juris doctor degree from the University of Maryland School of Law in Baltimore, MD.
Zach Tedeschi, Vice President Sales
Zach Tedeschi is Vice President Sales of Re-Steel Supply Company, Inc. Zach leads the sales of Nickel alloy plate products and tool kits to Re-Steel’s aerospace composite tooling industry customers. Zach has over ten years of experience in the composite tooling supply chain industry and has a proven track record in delivering customer focused high quality results for Re-Steel’s customers.
Zach joined the company in 2012 and held several positions in the sales division, including sales manager, prior to being promoted to Vice President of Sales in 2016. Zach received a bachelor’s degree from The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, where he was also a member of the men’s lacrosse team.
Ben Herrin – Vice President, Operations
Ben Herrin is Vice President of Operations for Re-Steel Supply Company, Inc. He is an experienced manager with knowledge of Domestic and International logistics as well as material conversion and processing. He has managed the implementation of a companywide ERP system and monitors the quality of all products. His current responsibilities include management of Re-Steel’s inventory warehouses, rolling mills and processing contractors. Prior to his current position he was responsible for the Logistics and Warehousing Departments.
Justin McCallum, Director of Michigan Operations
Justin McCallum is Director of Michigan Operations of Re-Steel Supply Company, Inc. Justin leads Re-Steel’s Michigan manufacturing and production facility that produces invar tool kits for composite structure tooling fabricators. Justin has over ten years of experience in the composite tooling supply chain industry and has a proven track record in the production of high-quality invar tool kits for aerospace composite structures. He also is a company leader in the management of product logistics and inventory.
Justin joined the company in 2011 and held several positions in operations and inventory, including Project Manager, prior to being promoted to Director of Michigan Operations in 2018. Justin attended the University of Phoenix.
